Non urgent repairs that are not listed below should wait until the next business day.
If a tenant calls a trade for something that is not genuinely urgent, the tenant may be liable for the call out cost.

During Office Hours Urgent Repairs

Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Outside these hours, including weekends and public holidays, is considered after hours.

Residential Tenancies Act

Anything on this list is defined as an urgent repair under the RTA

Burst water service
Blocked or broken toilet system (where there is only one toilet)
Serious roof leak
Gas leak
Dangerous electrical fault
Flooding or serious flood damage
Serious storm or fire damage
Essential service or appliance for hot water, water, cooking, heating, or laundering not working
Gas, electricity, or water supply not working (where there is no area outage)
A cooling appliance or service provided by the rental provider not working
Safety related device (e.g. smoke alarm, pool fence) not working
Fitting or fixture causing significant water wastage
Any fault or damage making the property unsafe or insecure
Serious problem with a lift or staircase
